Under 15 Group

Our continued link up with Leicester Lions has allowed us to field healthy numbers at all fixtures so far this season, high quality performances have pushed healthy competition for positions and this shows at the weekends with lads coming from the bench to make a big impact in games.

Much promise and high anticipation on the back of good training sessions hasn’t always come through to performances on Sundays and the squad work hard to improve this. On Sunday 6th November this finally was achieved and the team took a hard earned win against a spirited Loughborough side. Afterwards the team joined the opposition to complete a set of push-ups to support the Loughborough Coach in his push up challenge for Cancer Research.

One of the features we have introduced this year is a Player of the Match trophy which we ask our parents to vote for each week. This has brought the team and supporters closer and is proving a good catalyst for everyone to stay behind a little longer and socialise whilst they await the presentation each week. So far the trophy has been picked up by Lorenzo Bertolli, Tristan Hardy, Johnny Sobek, Luca Santoro-White and most recently by Sonny Alba.

With a County Plate Quarter Final on the horizon the Under 15’s have a busy few weeks ahead.
