Just a quick note to each and everyone of you who continue to make the return to rugby at Oval Park something to be proud of!!!
We are without doubt one of the most proactive, successful, and vibrant clubs in the county. The feedback I’m getting from across the Bar on Saturdays & Sundays from visiting Referees, Coaches, Players, Parents and Supporters has been amazing. So whatever role you have at the club and whatever part you’ve played since the start of the season, THANK YOU! – it’s you who make the club the success that it is.
With Covid on the rise and back in headlines and with the reintroduction of masks, I’m sure we all watch each government announcement with bated breath. We will continue to do all we can to keep everyone safe at the club. With this in mind, can we ask that once you’ve made your purchase from the bar, you move away to create space for the next customer.
Turning to precautions on the pitch, the buckets are still in the garage and there’s plenty of disinfectant available. So if we can go back to using them as we did, that would be a great help. Please make an effort and do your part to stop the spread as we are bringing several hundred people together each weekend and we all have a responsibility to protect each other.
At this moment in time the Christmas Parties will still go ahead, (unless we are advised otherwise) we look forward to seeing the Senior Players for their social on the 11th of December the Minis on 12th of December and the Juniors for their social on the 15th
So on behalf of all the Bar Team, Myself, Sarah, Duncan & Nicki have a brilliant Christmas!!!!!!!

A couple of dubious characters you might bump into in the bar. Beware they will most certainly be after your money!!
