The Colts building a strong culture
The Colts continue to go from strength to strength with the welcome addition of several new players. We continue to build a strong culture, underpinned by a collective resilience, desire to improve and pride in the club. Recent performances have seen them record their first win against Broadstreet as well as three players representing Wyggs at Under 18 Leicestershire trials.
The New Year will see us play Oakham in the Under 17’s cup under lights on the 26th January. This is a transitional competition with teams made up of Under 16 and 17 players. We are very much looking forward to our Under 16 players joining us in the build up to this and taking their first steps into Colts rugby.
The support of the Senior section, Club committee, parents and Saturday supporters has made all the above possible. So, a big thank you from Coaches and Players.
We are still keen to welcome new players into the fold as we look forward to what will be a successful New Year and second half of the season. If you know of anyone that is looking for a new club or keen to start playing rugby then please get in touch. We train on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm – 8pm with games on a Saturday afternoon.
